Add padding to the bottom of featured image in MailChimp to separate from text

In my MailChimp RSS feed, the featured image is appearing but it is sitting on top of the text as follows: http://www.screencast.com/t/2ZhRH28PshG. I cannot find a way either using WordPress or MailChimp to separate this using CSS.

Ideally I am hoping for 10/15px spacing just to give room for the reader.

Is there an option to do this using the plugin?
