No ads or other plugins

I don’t understand. I have tried AMP (AGAIN, after a couple of years), but still all the plugins stop working. Most importantly, no ads from google are shown at all. I have the option selected so that Google puts them where they prefer automatically, but, no sooner do I activate AMP than they disappear. I have tried putting them manually, but nothing. The same with another plugin that puts some affiliated links here and there.
Form for the newsletter gone too.
None of the plugin are “suppressed” and they all show o be “active”, but they don’t seem to be there.
What am I supposed to do here?
Hopefully someone can enlighten me. I’ll leave the plugin on for a few hours in the hope that someone will reply.
