eschwarz2 on "email subscribers"

I wish to use MailChimp to email my subscribers and disable the email feature within Wordpress. I see where to deactivate it in Jetpack, but I have 2 questions. 1) when I deactivate, will I still be able to get new subscribers through the jetpack widget and 2) is there a way to interface with MailChimp so I don't have to transfer emails from wordpress to MailChimp manually.
