I am learning. I watched a few tutorials, trying to figure out how to get a button so people could subscribe to my blog. No one has even read it yet but when someone does, I want it to be right. It looked like mailchimp might be a solution so I loaded it as a plugin in wordpress. The second I entered the API, it took over my wordpress. I hadn’t even opened it see what any options might be. Now there is a comment box where my posts used to be and my posts only exist in the sidebar. I tried deactivating but that didn’t change anything. I put a new blog post up, hoping it would go in front and just start a new sequence. Nope. I have even de-installed chimp monkey but it left behind its comments box. I have searched and tutorialed trying to figure out how to get rid of this. It has just taken control and will not let me put any new posts up on the actual page.
Is there a way to kill it or to make wordpress give me a second post page so I can delete the one the mailchimp comments box is on?
I wanted a subscription box.
